Cookie Policy

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information. We also use similar technologies (local storage, pixels, JavaScript SDKs) for the same purposes; all are referred to here collectively as "cookies".
How to manage your preferences
On your first visit, a banner asks you to accept all, reject all, or customise your preferences across four categories. You can change your choice any time from the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of every page. We respect your decision until you clear your browser storage; in that case the banner will reappear on your next visit.
Categories of cookies we use
Necessary
Required for the site to remember your consent choice. Cannot be turned off without breaking the consent mechanism itself.
| Name | Vendor | Purpose | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
ambar.consent.v1 | Ambar Partners (first-party) | Stores your consent choice across the four categories. | localStorage | Until you clear it or change consent |
Functional
Help us understand how the site is used and where users get stuck, so we can fix UX problems. Disabled by default.
| Name | Vendor | Purpose | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_hjSession*, _hjIncludedInSessionSample* | Hotjar (Contentsquare, USA / EU) | Session recording and heatmaps to identify UX friction. | Cookie + localStorage | 30 minutes (session); 1 year (sample inclusion) |
ph_*_session_recording | PostHog (eu.i.posthog.com — EU hosted) | Replay of user sessions for usability research. | localStorage | 1 year |
Analytics
Anonymous usage statistics. We measure which sections work, which don't, and which copy converts. No personally identifying information is captured. Disabled by default.
| Name | Vendor | Purpose | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, USA) |
Page views and events. We anonymise the source IP before storage (anonymize_ip).
| Cookie | 2 years |
ph_* (event capture) | PostHog (eu.i.posthog.com — EU hosted) | Event-level analytics (clicks, scroll depth, form interactions). Person profiles only for identified users. | Cookie + localStorage | 1 year |
Marketing
Conversion tracking for the outreach campaigns we run. Allows us to measure and optimise which channels bring the right audience. Disabled by default.
| Name | Vendor | Purpose | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au, _gac_* | Google Ads (Google LLC, USA) | Conversion attribution for paid ads. | Cookie | 90 days |
li_gc, UserMatchHistory, bcookie | LinkedIn Insight Tag (Microsoft Corp., USA / Ireland) | B2B conversion tracking and retargeting. | Cookie | 30 days – 2 years |
_lfa | Leadfeeder / Dealfront (Finland) | Identifies the company associated with the visitor's IP for B2B sales context. | Cookie | 2 years |
International transfers
Some of these vendors process data outside the EU/EEA. Where transfers occur to the United States, the legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 49.1.a) given via the cookie banner. We do not infer consent from continued browsing — only from an explicit "Accept" or category-level toggle.
Withdrawing consent
Use the Cookie Settings link (also in every page's footer) to change or revoke your consent. Revoking applies on the next page load; cookies already set are not retroactively deleted, but our SDKs (PostHog, GA4, etc.) stop collecting new events immediately on revoke.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when adding or removing cookies. Material changes (new categories, new vendors processing personal data) will trigger a new consent prompt — you will see the banner again until you re-confirm your preferences.
